Come on out to Sessions Taphouse & Grill and enjoy some Folk Rock all night long with Kelowna touring bands Tiger Moon and Twin Towns!
::Tiger Moon::
Tiger Moon is an Alt-Folk duo out of Kelowna, BC, playing folked-up styles of bluegrass, rock&roll, reggae and soul.
Their sound derives from a guitar and a mandolin intricately woven together in a fervour of vocal melodies and harmonies. Heavy boot stomping keeps the beat pulsing forward when they're hard, and the rhythmic sway of their strumming can calm the most belligerent of beasts when they're soft. The duo produces the power of a full band, driving the highs and lows forward, and developing a unique relationship with the audience all their own.
Their storytelling capabilities unlock the mysteries of living tour life, the new cutthroat music industry, and the trials and successes of being a music producing couple.
Tiger Moon are professionals through and through, determined to grab the Canadian Music Industry by the horns and take it for a long, long ride.

Matt Price and Nick Gibson started writing music in 2008 and after 2 and 1/2 years brought it out of the basement and into the world! Dubbing themselves Twin Towns and after finding a full time drummer in Kyle Moar, they started playing live and getting their name out. Now with the arrival of their new bass player Matt Perry, Twin Towns is ready to blues rock and or roll! Hold on to yo butts!
