The Opry consists of various musicians who bring a wealth of experience to the Memorial Park stage. They love to have fun and entertain audiences of all ages. Each musician in the Opry has a diverse background, a combination which produces fantastic country western performances. The group plays monthly from September to May at Emmanuel Church in West Kelowna, as well as at special events. The lineup for Music in the Park on July 25 is: ·         Talented Kid: 6:45 p.m. – Taylor Hickson ·         Opening Act 6:55 p.m. – Ben and Jessie ·         Headline Act: 7:35 p.m. – Westbank Country Opry Free, family friendly Music in the Park concerts take place every Friday night from 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. through August 29 at Memorial Park, adjacent to Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre. Music lovers will enjoy a variety of genres including country, rock, dance, and classical. Food and drink vendor services will be available throughout the event. West Kelowna Recreation staff will also be in the park with supervised games and activities for the kids. Part of the community connection will happen through Facebook and Twitter.
