Chad Brownlee, former NHL player with the Vancouver Canucks, who still calls Kelowna his hometown, kick-started his country music career after writing NCAA Hockey Humanitarian Award nominated song “The Hero I See”. Following the success of his sophomore album LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME, and subsequent tours, his second album THE FIGHTERS was released earlier this year to critical acclaim with hit singles “Listen”, “Crash” and “Smoke in the Rain” cracking the Top 10 charts. Recipient of the CCMA Rising Star Award, JUNO nominated for Country Album of the Year, and Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA®) Award™ Male Artist of the Year (2012 & 2013), Chad continues to charm and wow audiences with his charisma, rich vocals, and strong work ethic. In addition to his musical success, Chad has also become known for his humanitarian efforts, frequently donating his time to a variety of charitable causes. Chad will be joined on the “When the Lights Go Down” Tour with country musician newcomer, Jess Moskaluke. Her record-breaking single “Cheap Wine and Cigarettes” off her 10-track GOLD status album LIGHT UP THE NIGHT, recently became the highest charting single on the iTunes top 200 list breaking the record for the most downloads for a female solo country artist since Shania Twain. Combining her vocal prowess with her dominating stage presence, Jess is well on her way in the country music world. Completing the trio on this exciting tour is Alberta native Bobby Wills. Known for his heartfelt writing style, Bobby was recently awarded the 2013 Canadian Country Music Association Rising Star title as well as the Alberta Country Music Association Male Artist of the Year.
