This year is a special celebration in Kelowna, B.C. for both Tokara’s 20th Anniversary Tour and Leader Art Lee’s 30th Anniversary. Art Lee is the only person in the world from outside of Japan to win Grand Champion status of the Tokyo International Odaiko Competition; the top taiko competition in the world. This special performance, called “KOBUSHI”, is presented by the Kelowna-Kasugai Sister City Association and features TOKARA’s top performers, Art Lee and Yukari Ichise. Tickets$30.
