Start Waxing Those Skis, Snow is Here to Stay in the Okanagan

The temperature is dropping and the Okanagan Valley has officially begun it's annual winter cool down. With the last remaining fall leaves blanketing the ground, ski and snowboard enthusiasts will be happy to hear that it looks like the powdery white stuff is here to stay.

Big White Ski Resort put out an official “snow alert” on Tuesday morning stating that the mountain top has been blanketed with another thick layer of fluffy white snow. The ski resort is eagerly looking forward to their November 27th tentative opening date, which is now a likely possibility.
