If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
Deepok Chopra. I find his philosophies on life and inner peace to be so amazing.
If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Dr. Maya Angelou. She overcame adversity, and accomplished so much and gave back and inspired women in so many ways. I would love to spend a day in her presence.
Who inspires you?
So many people, I find happiness and authenticity inspiring, and am fortunate to be surrounded by friends, family and colleagues who inspire me on a daily basis
What are three things on your bucket list?
Travel, travel, travel
If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
Seize the Day
If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
The thought of seeing into the future does not appeal to me- I prefer to live each day as it comes!
What are you passionate about?
My family & friends, Interior Design, learning something new every day.
What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
My wedding day, and the days that each of my daughters was born.

Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
There are so many great places to eat in Kelowna. It really depends on my mood. Lately I’ve been on a huge Thai food kick!
What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
Anything outdoors! We are so fortunate to live here -skiing, hiking, beaches, boating, I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
What is the name of your business/organization?
Kelowna Absolute Interior Design Inc. We are a full service design firm that specializes in all elements of Interior and Exterior Design for both residential and commercial spaces. We have also recently expanded and have added a renovation and project management division.
What does your business/organization do?
We provide clients with innovative design ideas, products and services to create their dream space. We take care of all of the details, so that they can be assured that everything is looked after, and done well from concept to completion.

What is your mission?
To provide Quality, Innovative & Creative Design and Services to my clients. To work with integrity, and honesty and to have fun doing it!
If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
I honestly cannot think of just one! I feel as though every project that we complete is a great achievement, and each is equally rewarding!
Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
Still going strong, with a great team, working with fantastic clients!
Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
There are so many. I think that Frank lloyd Wright was instrumental and paved the way for so many great designers... I also think that Sarah Richardson has opened up the world of Interior Design to the average homeowner , through her television show she’s shown people that design is fun, creative and accessible!
What three qualities do you feel that your business/organization exemplifies?
Integrity, Creativity and Quality
What would you like to say to your employees/support team?
Thank you! I couldn’t do it without you!!
How does your business/organization impact the community?
I am involved with a women in business program that gathers donations of clothing, toiletries and beauty items and “gifts” them to women in need. It’s not much, but if it helps fellow women in the community, even a little bit- then it’s worth it!
If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
The gap between the wealthy and the working poor. There are so many individuals and families locally, that are struggling to survive and put food on the table; while others have so much.... my hope is that through community awareness we can all do our part to bridge the gap.
What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Definitely the people, although I must admit the weather and the wineries are pretty great too!
