What do you always find yourself saying?
Awesome!

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select and why?
I would choose to spend it with Lady Gaga. She has an amazing amount of talent and creativity and such a kind heart with all the charities she promotes. She has so much passion for what she does and who she is. It would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend time with someone of that nature.

If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
I actually don’t have any award that I would like to win, as for me it is rewarding enough to be able to work on developing my makeup business.

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
Audrey Hepburn! She is such a beauty icon and there is nothing not to love about her popular quote, “Happy girls are the prettiest.”

Who inspires you?
Everyone and everything! I think great inspiration can be found everywhere (especially relating to makeup) if you remember to look for it.

What are three things on your bucket list?
Travel to Europe
Impact someone’s life in a positive way
Achieve all my goals and aspirations

If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?
I’m not a fan of great, big stretches of water, and would likely spend my money on other things, but if I had a yacht I would name it Buoy, oh Buoy!

If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
A day where I’m a little old lady surrounded by loving friends and/or family and to look back in life and have no regrets and to have accomplished and had opportunities in everything I wanted in life.

What are you passionate about?
Everything beauty related! I’m a firm believer in treating and making yourself feel beautiful from the inside out. Makeup is such an amazing tool for raising self confidence and expressing who you are. Everything you do for yourself from your makeup to your hair etc. should be about making you feel happy and not to impress anyone but yourself.

What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
I’m very fortunate to have a life filled with great family, and opportunities that have created a lot of amazing days. Therefore I cannot pick just one.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
So far my proudest accomplishment has been graduating from Blanche Macdonald Centre and starting up my own business and I can’t wait to see how it grows and develops with hard work.

Where is your favourite place to dine in Kelowna? What do you like about it?
My favourite place is Kelly O’s, simply because I love pachos!

What is your favourite activity or event in Kelowna? Why?
Big White! Skiing and snowboarding have been my favourite activity here in Kelowna since I was a child; they have great snow and a great mountain to match.

What does your business/organization do?
I am a freelance makeup artist based in Kelowna, British Columbia and mobile throughout the Okanagan. Currently I specialize and offer professional makeup services in bridal, prom, editorial, airbrushing and special effects, or for any special event you may have. I have a passion and talent for expressing creativity through makeup and do it with precision and attention to detail.

What is your mission?
My mission is to make every client of mine feel like the most beautiful versions of themselves and for them to gain self confidence and empowerment.

If you could achieve one thing within your field, what would it be?
My current goal is to get my work published either in print or online.

Where do you want your business/organization to be in five years?
Being quite new to this industry in five years I would love to have a steady flow of clients and to have a network of friends within the industry to work and share the same passion with.

Who do you consider to be a forerunner within your field?
There are so many amazing makeup artists around the world in this field with different talents and styles that should be celebrated I can’t name just one.

How does your business/organization impact the community?
My goal within the community is to make women see how beautiful they are and to have them gain self confidence. All makeup does is enhance the features they already posses but it can make a big difference in self esteem and I believe feeling good on the outside is a big part of feeling good on the inside as well.

If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
I would definitely want to be trapped with high status beauty experts! You can never stop learning and developing in this field and I feel like they would have so many valuable tips and tricks up their sleeves that I would love to learn about.

If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be:
I would love Kelowna to have more popular clothing stores like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters.

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
Kelowna is a great place to be because there are tons of opportunities for growth without being so overwhelming like big cities. Living in Okanagan there are so many outdoor adventures right in our back yard and the scenery is stunning!
