Life is like a Chinese Food Buffet! You should be able to pick and choose what you want!

If you could spend one whole day with anyone in the world who is currently alive, who would you select?
My BEST Friend Susan ... she lives in San Diego. She is the most positive, optimistic, and feel-good person I know! And we just don't stop laughing!

If you were to receive any existing public award, what award would you like to win?
hmm .. not sure!

If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would you choose?
Oprah Winfrey ... she is entrepreneurial to the core!

Who inspires you?
Anyone who takes action in the direction of their goals!

What are three things on your bucket list?
1. To travel somewhere incredibly exotic ... like BoraBora!
2. To build a wildly successful business and become a true BIG WIG in the blogger industry!
3. To be the IN FOCUS feature for spotlight Kelowna!

If you had an enormous yacht, what would you name it?

If you could foresee a single day of your future in its entirety, what date would you select?
October 18, 2017 (that's my 40th bday. I will be a millionaire by then! And it's going to be QUITE the party!!)

What are you passionate about?
I am SUPER passionate about empowering moms to be the best they can be ... and to live their passions! I love showing moms that they truly can live a fabulous life by using the tools that are available to them through the internet and social media.
I am passionate about sharing with these moms they need to have PASSION to be successful! A lot of moms go online looking for ways to make money. I encourage them to NOT go after the money ... but rather go within themselves to find something THEY are passionate about and enjoy doing and writing about online.
Through my blog design company, I LOVE working with moms from all over the world ... and to help them develop their own space in internet land to share their passions.

What has been your favourite day of your life, up to this point?
August 15th, 2013. That was the day my dream came true. That was the day we moved in to our house here in Kelowna.

What has been your proudest accomplishment?
I have 2. The first is that I have built a successful international business ... on my own ... working from my home computer.
The 2nd ... about 7 years ago my husband and I made a decision and set a goal. At the time we were living in Southern Ontario, and we decided that we were going to move to Kelowna. We set a date. 7 years ahead of time, we stated that we would be moving in the summer of 2013. We planned and planned. We enrolled our kids in our goal. We brought them here for vacation and they fell in love with the city just as we were! The goal become the whole families. Spring on 2013 came and our house went up for sale! Summer came and we packed everything up and did it! We are living our dream by moving here to kelowna ... which I like to call PARADISE! The past year has been the greatest of year of my life! And I am SO PROUD to have taught my children the most valuable lesson ... set a goal. Be super clear on it. Enroll those around you in your goal. Plan for it. And FOLLOW THROUGH WITH IT!!

If you were trapped in an elevator with several wealthy investors from any field, which field would you want them to be experts in? What would say to them/talk about?
They would have to be women ... and probably more specifically moms. They would have to be in the online field. Either blogging or social media. That is absolutely my passion! Being able to use the internet and social media ... to have the entire world right here at my finger tips. Sitting in my home office with my kids running all around! The internet and social media have opened SO MANY doors for moms to be able to fully contribute to society while still being MOM.

What is your favourite activity in Kelowna?
Going to Gyro Beach with my kiddies

If I could change one thing about Kelowna, it would be
hmmm .. that's a tough one! I LOVE this city!! But I guess it would be a more 'green' garbage system. Perhaps switching the schedule and collecting recycling every week and garbage every other week. AND ... in doing so ... add in a GREEN bin for food scraps that would be collected every week. (this is more like the garbage system we had in Toronto. I preferred that system)

What do you think makes Kelowna great?
EVERYTHING!!! The view is spectacular. The weather is AMAZING. The people are all so incredibly friendly. It's a smaller town ... yet still has all the amenities of a big city. There are no stuck up people here. Everyone is casual, and laid back. Everyone is active and healthy. There are so many activities and programs for the kids to participate in ... to encourage them to live a healthy, active life. I LOVE that we live in the fittest city in Canada! I'm super proud to be a part of that!

I am very well know online in the Mommy Blogger industry as the LOOK GOOD COACH ... helping bloggers look good online & in life. I have 3 sites that I own & operate ... http://www.MommyBlogDesigns.com, http://www.HowToBlogDesign.com, and http://www.BloggyBody.com
Through these sites, I help moms create their own space in internet land through my blog designs at MommyBlogDesigns.com... teach them how to maintain their blog from HowToBlogDesign.com ... and then I also encourage them to NOT spend too much time on their blog. I tell them they need to step away from the computer for a bit each day and focus on their own health and wellness. Through BloggyBody.com, I host 8 week weight loss challenges designed specifically for bloggers.

Some general comments I would like to share are

I've only officially been a resident of Kelowna for 11 months now ... but this city is in me to my core already! I will NEVER take this city for granted! I still stand on my porch everyday overlooking the city (I'm up on Black Mountain with a beautiful view of the whole city) .. and I just say THANK YOU for bringing my family here ... and for sharing this beauty and wonderful city with us.
