Young Man Dies After Fall from Stanley Park

The BC Coroners Service has identified the man who died after a fall in Vancouver’s Stanley Park on Saturday, July 26th.

Abbotsford’s Mai David Huy Huynh, 22, was spending time with friends at Prospect Point, the highest point in Stanley Park, when he went missing during the afternoon.

Huynh was found shortly after 6:00 p.m. on the seawall about 70 metres below. The Vancouver Police have not released any details surrounding Huynh’s death, but say it is not suspicious.

Huynh studied at the UBC Sauder School of Business and was currently interning at KPMG. The BC Coroners Service and Vancouver Police continue to investigate this death.
