A giant Lego man has washed ashore in Japan, a very strange sight to see for those who spotted the plastic man on the beach.
The almost eight foot tall plastic man was filmed floating towards the beach at Yuigahmaa by surfer Tatsuya Hirata. Apparently the Lego man is named Ego Leonard and is the brainchild of a Dutch artist. On the front of Ego Leonard’s shirt is the words “No Real Than You Are.”

This isn’t the first time Ego has washed ashore, in September 2012 he turned up on a U.S. beach in Florida.
“My name is Ego Leonard and according to you I come from the virtual world. A world that for me represents happiness, solidarity, all green and blossoming, with no rules or limitations,” reads Ego’s website. “Lately however, my world has been flooded with fortune-hunters and people drunk with power. And many new encounters in the virtual world have triggered my curiosity about your way of life. I am here to discover and learn about your world and thoughts.”
The art project has been travelling the world for some time and it’s anyone’s guess which beach he will land on next.
