The new princess has now been introduced to the world.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday, looking excited as Kate held their brand new daughter. The couple presented the new royal baby to those waiting outside before travelling home to Kensington Palace.
Big brother Prince George visited his little sister earlier in the day and had previously returned to Kensington Palace.
“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank all staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have all received,” said the couple in a statement. “They would also like to thank everyone for their warm wishes.”
William and Kate have not yet announced the name of the little Princess of Cambridge.
