Police are still on the scene investigating a massive bike gang shootout in Waco, Texas on Sunday that left nine dead.
Officers from Waco Police Department were on the scene when the shooting started at the Twin Peaks restaurant by the Central Texas Marketplace. The shooting involved at least five bike gangs, and in a televised news conference, Sgt W. Patrict Swanton said that nine individuals were dead while 18 were sent to hospital with mostly gunshot and stab wounds.

Sgt Swanton called it one of the worst crime scenes he’s seen in 34 years of law enforcement, saying it was “horrific”. The area is littered with bullets, blood, and other evidence. The entire Central Texas Marketplace has been secured, and every agency in the area is working with Waco Police to aid in the investigation.
On Monday morning, Waco Police said that 192 people have been arrested and processed for the Twin Peaks shooting and that they will all face Engaging in Organized Crime charges. The individuals are being booked and processed.

The Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission is closing down Twin Peaks with a Summary Suspension. “This is not a punitive action on TABC's part but done due to the ongoing danger it presents to our community,” said Waco Police. “They are conducting a parallel investigation and further action may be forthcoming.”
The investigation is expected to take a significant amount of time due to the amount of evidence at the scene. Waco Police reported Monday morning that civilian and police units with bullet holes still had to be processed.
