A Kelowna based tech company has announced a major acquisition of a game accelerator which will launch them into the Brazilian market.
WTFast has acquired Semlag and will merge all of the company’s customers, IP, manpower and assets with the Kelowna company. The Brazilian market is large and rapidly growing with an estimated 17 million gamers in the country. PC based games is the leading form used with over 96 per cent using that format.

Semlag was founded in 2010 and is recognized as the top game acceleration service in Brazil for many popular games. The merger will further strengthen WTFast as the dedicated wide area network (WAN) designed exclusively for the global MMO gaming ecosystem.
