Netflix has made it official: the iconic hit show Full House is coming back.
The Internet T.V. network is bringing back one of your favourites from the ‘80s and ‘90s. On Tuesday, Netflix officially announced it had ordered a 13-episode season of a new multi-camera comedy, Fuller House. This new show is the long-awaited sequel to Full House and will be created by original Full House creator Jeff Franklin.
Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), will be starring in Fuller House. Fellow Full House star John Stamos will be producing as well as guest starring in his original role as Uncle Jesse.

Discussions are ongoing with Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin for guest appearances.
The adventures will be continuing with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller pregnant and recently widowed in San Francisco. Continuing in the spirit of the original show, D.J. will be joined by her younger sister Stephanie (now an aspiring musician) and lifelong best friend/single mother Kimmy Gibbler, who have both moved in to help. Also in the house will be Kimmy’s teenage daughter Ramona and D.J.’s two boys, the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max.

“The continued support of Full House fans of all ages for the last 28 years has been astounding,” says a joint statement by executive producers Robert L. Boyett, Thomas L. Miller and Jeff Franklin. “It is an honor and a thrill to catch up with these beloved characters and explore their lives today. The love you saw on the show was real. The cast has remained a loving family off screen all these years. We are as excited as our fans to finally bring Full House back to life.”
Fuller House will premiere across all Netflix territories in 2016.
