A Kamloops woman has pleaded guilty to several charges after she was busted for fraud after she used and elderly man’s identity to purchase breast implants.
Brandie Bloor, aged 39, pleaded guilty in provincial court on Thursday to fraud over $5,000 and identity theft, but will not be sentenced until next week. Crown council alleged that Bloor stole an elderly man’s identity to pay for the implants, a tummy tuck and liposuction.

The fraud came to the attention of the elderly man in February 2014 when he received a letter from a loan company. The letter claimed that the 83-year-old was behind on payments after borrowing $15,000.
Bloor has a lengthy criminal record which dates back to 2004 and includes several fraud charges. Bloor will appear again in Kamloops court on June 2nd for sentencing. The 39-year-old remains in custody.
