The Art Gallery is one of Kelowna's cultural hubs, and every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. it organizes an arts and crafts activity for children and their families. On Sunday, May 24th, the Gallery celebrated Asian Heritage Month by partnering with the Okanagan Korean Culture and Knowledge Society to have participants create miniature versions of men's and women's traditional Korean outfits. This is just one of many ways that the Kelowna Art Gallery embraces cultural diversity, and the experience of cultural diversity is just one of many reasons to attend Family Sundays. Lauren Hjalmarson has the story.
