Cloudy Days Ahead for Kelowna

Although the thunderstorm watch for the Okanagan has come to an end, Kelowna residents can expect a risk of thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, followed by a mix of sun and cloud throughout the rest of the week.

According to Environment Canada, light showers are expected to end early Tuesday morning. The afternoon will see a mix of sun and cloud, followed by a risk of thunderstorms this afternoon and moving into the early evening.

The rain may be falling, but the temperatures are still quite high. Despite the cloud coverage, it will be about 23 degrees Celsius in Kelowna on Tuesday.

Wednesday through Friday, Kelowna can expect to see cloudy periods with a 30 per cent chance of showers and humid temperatures ranging from 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.

As Sunday rolls around, the rain is expected to break with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 28 degrees Celsius.
