The evacuation order has again been expanded to include more properties in the Joe Rich area.
All properties on Goudie Road, Jack Pine Road, Prather Road, Trapper Road, and Boone Road have now been placed under evacuation order. The order is also in effect for all properties between the intersection of Goudie and Highway 33 and 7650 Highway 33 East. Residents along Huckleberry Road are also under evacuation order.

An evacuation alert is in place for residents living on the south side of Highway 33 East from Goudie Road to 8991 Highway 33 East. These people should be prepared to leave their homes at a moment’s notice.

The emergency support services reception centre is set up for those on evacuation order at Willow Park Church located at 439 Highway 33. It is unknown at this time how many people have been evacuated. The Canadian Animal Disaster Response Team says they are able to respond and help people who need a place to take their animals. People with large animals such as horses can take them to the Kelowna Riding Club located at 3745 Gordon Drive. Please bring blankets and hay. Bedding is available. These affected residents will also have to register at the ESS Reception Centre.
CDART is currently setting up a reception area within the evacuee reception centre at Willow Park Church, 439 Highway 33 East. There should be signage outside the reception centre as to where CDART is located inside - people can come to CDART and let them know what assistance they need with their pets. If people are evacuated, they should take their pets with them when they leave the house.
Don't leave pets in the car at reception centre. CDART can "petsit" for them while they are registering with ESS as evacuees. ESS will attempt to find accommodations for them that accept pets and if there is none available, CDART can assist with fostering animals that can't go with their owners
