RCMP Looking for Owner of Ring Found in Okanagan

A gold and diamond ring has been found, and RCMP are trying to find the owner.

The ring was found sometime around the first week of May near Community Futures on 33rd Street in Vernon. The finder has since turned the ring in to police, hoping that the item could be safely returned to its owner.

Police describe the ring as 14 karat yellow gold with seven parallel rows of three clear white stones each, a total of 21 stones. The rows are in a stepped formation towards the centre of the crown.

RCMP say that the ring doesn’t seem to have been reported lost or stolen, and they have exhausted all efforts to identify the owner. Now, investigators are asking the public for help.

If you believe you’re the owner of the ring and you have proof of ownership—like a photo of you wearing it—contact Cst. Kris Clark of Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288 to have it returned.
