A vehicle accident is affecting traffic on Highway 97 in the North Okanagan.
At about 2 p.m., DriveBC reported that Highway 97A was closed in both directions for 11.1 km from Enderby to Grindrod. Highway 97B southbound is also closed at the junction with Highway 97A. A detour is available and flaggers are in place. The highway is expected to open between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
There’s no word yet on what caused the collision.
