Man Found Dead on UBC Campus Identified

The man who was found dead at UBC’s Vancouver campus on April 9th has now been identified.

BC Coroners Service has identified the man as Roderick Bruce Cortner, aged 66, of Vancouver. Cortner was found dead that afternoon by a staff member at the rear of the property of the UBC President Arvind Gupta’s home, also known as Norman MacKenzie House. It’s believed that Cortner died the previous day.
