Charges against three youth have been laid in relation to the death of a 19-year-old man from Vancouver.
According to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), three 17-year-old youths have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the stabbing of 19-year-old Luka Gordic on May 17th. A fourth 18-year-old man is also facing charges in connection with this incident.

Investigators believe that Gordic's death is a result of an altercation between two groups spending the May long weekend in Whistler.
“This was a situation where a group of young people who knew each other had a dispute which turned deadly,” said Sergeant Stephanie Ashton, Media Relations Officer for IHIT.
The accused in this matter was scheduled to appear in a North Vancouver court on Tuesday.
This incident took place just after midnight on Sunday, May 17th. The young victim was transported to a local clinic where he succumbed to his life-threatening injuries.
Whistler RCMP were also called to investigate a second stabbing over the Long weekend, but RCMP said there is no connection between the stabbing incidents at this time.
