The U16B team went undefeated in their five games this weekend.

They kicked off the weekend with a 6-2 win over the St. Albert Angels U16A team.

The St. Albert Angels couldn't get anything going as long as Annie Morrison was pitching. Morrison held the Angels hitless over four innings, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out 10. Kelowna didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the second inning when it scored on a two-run single by Bailey Wellman. The Heat scored on a groundout by Gracie Barbour and an RBI single by Carleigh Maniago and tacked on another two runs in the fifth. Barbour kicked things off with a single, bringing home Niah LaRoy. That was followed up by Maniago's single, plating Barbour.

The second game for the Heat was a 12-7 win over the Edmonton Warriors U18B team. After five lead changes in Saturday's game at High Noon Ball field, Kelowna finally pulled out a 12-7 win over Edmonton.

Edmonton couldn't get anything going as long as Morrison was in the circle. The Warriors managed just two hits off of Morrison, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out six during her 2 2/3 innings of work.

The third match was against their cross lake rivals, the Westside Outlaws U19C team. Kelowna won the game 8-5. Once again Morrison looked sharp in the circle. She gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six during her two innings of work. The game was never in doubt after the first, as Kelowna scored four runs on a two-run double by Tyler Wolsey and a two-run single by Maniago.

The fourth match was 6-2 win over the River City Hornets on Saturday afternoon. Alexis was great, throwing a no-hitter, striking out 10 batters and walking five while recording her momentous feat. She got the last batter for River City to ground out for the final out of the game. The Heat was led by Gracie Barbour's hitting. Barbour went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. She singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The final game on Sunday was a close 9-8 win over the Kootenay Kodiaks. Kelowna scored 4 in the bottom of the last inning to come back and win and finish the tournament with a record of 5 – 0.
