Another year, another disappointing postseason for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they failed to make it out of the first round on Saturday.
The Leafs managed to force a game seven after being down 3-1 in their series, but two consecutive goals by the Boston Bruins would end their season.

The Bruins evened the score not long after, eventually forcing overtime in game seven.
Less than two minutes into OT, David Pastrnak sent the Leafs packing with the game-winner.

The loss marked the fourth time in 11 years the Leafs have lost to the Bruins in game 7 of a postseason series.
The last game of the first round is tonight, with the Dallas Stars taking on the Vegas Golden Knights in game seven.
There were four Canadian teams to start the playoffs and now there are two, as the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks prepare to take on each other in the second round.
