Kelowna may be able to feel pity for Calgary all autumn long.
According to Environment Canada, southern B.C. is expected to have above-normal temperatures through to December, letting us enjoy the weather just a bit longer.
The Old Farmer's Almanac has a similar prediction, predicting above-normal temperatures for the fall and winter and below-normal levels of precipitation. According to its forecast, the coldest periods will be late December, early to mid-January, and mid- to late February.
The almanac also predicts a colder winter for the prairies and Ontario.
