Many people that know me know that I don't like continuous cardio, but they do know that I like a good HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout once in a while.
I wrote a previous article on the benefits of HIIT workouts, and why I love them, which you can read here.
Here is a tough HIIT workout you can start your Monday with!
30 second rounds eight rounds
Forward and backwards jump squats (land low)
10 seconds break
Half Burpees
10 seconds break
Repeat until you have done four rounds of each
One minute break
Ball slam
10 seconds break
Rowing machine (fast)
10 seconds break
4x each
One minute break
Jump lunges and Burpees (do two jump lunges and one Burpee)
10 second break
Box jumps (use a low step so they can be done for speed)
10 second break
4x each
