Rock The Lake 2018 lineup

Paging all classic rock fans, it’s that glorious time of year again, Rock The Lake has unleashed their beast of a lineup for the 2018 festival.

What normally runs as a weekend jam-packed with the finest Canadian rock and roll will be expanding to include some bigger names from across the pond.

You were blown away by Loverboy and Trooper in 2016,

Awestruck by April Wine and Honeymoon Suite in 2017,

But, not even those stacked lineups can prepare you for the monster group of rock and roll titans set to take over Kelowna in August 2018.

Canadian acts you can expect to headbang along with include:

  • Randy Bachman (legendary guitarist and songwriter of Bachman-Turner Overdrive and The Guess Who).
  • Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts
  • Men Without Hats
  • Ian Thomas
  • Glass Tiger
  • Northern Pikes
  • The Stampeders
  • Doug & the Slugs (who were supposed to rock the stage in 2017 but sadly had to postpone for medical reasons).

You may think your excitement levels have already peaked, but just wait, we haven’t even told you the three acts joining from far away lands.

Returning to Kelowna almost a year after their Prospera Place show is Scottish hard rockers, Nazareth. The Aussie, 70’s rockers behind The Little River Band will be bringing some “Cool Change” to the lineup. And finally, Sweet - these foxes are running all the way from the UK to muster up a Ballroom Blitz in the Prospera Place parking lot.

Rock the Lake 2018 will be back blowing speakers August 10th to 12th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. and are available through Select Your Tickets. Full event passes start at $153, and VIP tickets will be $433, single day tickets will be made available at a later date.
