How to take the LBD into winter without freezing your buns off

The little black dress, aka the LBD, has been a staple piece for decades and is one of the most renowned garments a woman owns.

The options for LBDs are endless and styling them is just a cherry on top of your already simplistic and timeless piece.

I took this dress from my summer wardrobe (so yes you can use a summer dress for this look) and worked it into a cozy, blacked out, Audrey Hepburn inspired look.

Fur is a tough piece to wear when you're not used to it, but it adds so much texture to an outfit that it's a must-own, chic item in your fall/winter wardrobe. I also added a black hat because washing your hair is overrated, and my favourite suede OTK boots which were an absolute steal from Spring for only $120.

I love talking about investment pieces as they will last you a long time. An LBD and a fur piece for winter should be your next purchases, or something to add to your Christmas wish list!
