When it comes to the cold grey months, embracing winter fashion can be aggravating when trying to figuring out how to dress.
As of late, I have been all about the graphic tees and sweaters, as well as comfortable and fashionable clothing, but even I am guilty as charged for getting frustrated with winter fashion.
Thankfully this season the ‘athleisure’ look is one of the trendiest looks seen across every social platform.
I am all about staying on top of trends, purchasing trending pieces and mixing it into your own style, but the ‘athleisure’ trend seems to be my go-to look this month. I have been wearing and writing about countless types of ways to sport this look – and I saved the best for last.
While sharing my favorite way to wear trending graphic tees and hoodies, and how to outright master that comfy casual look, I took the time to set my focus on how to style the ‘athleisure’ look. In order to do this, I give you two words.
Okanagan Lifestyle.
This month, I have the privilege to share with you some of my favorite Okanagan Lifestyle pieces (for both men and women), and how to style them. What I love about this local line is that their pieces are also unisex. So ladies, if you’re looking for a great gift for your boyfriend or husband’s birthday, anniversary or special occasion, grab them a t-shirt, sweater or toque. Then feel free to take it upon yourself to ‘borrow’ it out of their closet.
These pieces are great and can be worn dressed up with just about anything. From jeans and booties, to jeans and sneakers or lulus and running shoes, you can pair this local brand with just about anything. And, what says ‘athleisure’ more than pairing our beloved Kelowna Rockets captain, Rodney Southam in our favorite Okanagan Lifestyle apparel?
