This event has already occurred

January 24, 2020

Location: Doc Willoughbys
Time: 10:00 pm - 2:00 am

2020-01-24 22:00:00 2020-01-24 02:00:00 America/Vancouver League of Wolves League of Wolves is a hard-hitting rock group from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Originally comprised of four childhood friends, Dillon Currie, David Wickstrom, and Aspen and Greig Beveridge, the band started out by playing at small concert halls and outdoor events in neighbouring cities and towns. They quickly earned local recognition, with their first demo getting radio play throughout the province. In 2016, the group played at local venue, The Capitol, owned by four-time JUNO award-winner and former lead guitarist of The Sheepdogs, Leot Hanson. After seeing the show, Hanson was blown away and knew it was something he needed to be a part of. He soon after became a permanent member of the band. Hanson’s wealth of experience and writing style brought a new sound and direction to the band, with listeners comparing it to the likes of Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stone Age. “In collaborating with Leot, our song writing took a different direction. Our sound is closer to what we wanted all along,” says the band… “Exactly like it should be”. Doc Willoughbys events@kelownanow.com
