Bohemian Masquerade
Enter the colourful and eclectic world of nineteenth-century bohemian France. Walk among the “streets of Paris” and meet a poet, a painter, a musician and artisans, while you shop and sample delicious food with wines from Quails Gate Winery.
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind bohemian-themed fashion show featuring earthy textures and rich colours, styled by local artists. Be surprised by a unique mix of music performances: a cross-pollination of opera, jazz and percussion, all performed by special musical guests. Get a taste of our 2017 season with a few excerpts from our upcoming main-stage opera, Puccini’s La bohème.
Then, let loose on the dance floor and have the opportunity to fill your dance card with a professional ballroom dancer.
Dress up in your bohemian best and put on your favourite masquerade mask or purchase one from a selection available at the event!
There will be a live and silent auction as well as other fun and interactive fundraising activities.
Come and immerse yourself in a unique and exciting event while supporting the arts and culture in our community. Please note that the venue is wheelchair accessible.
