Over the past 10 years Niteo has collected books locally to send to children in Africa. In 2017, our focus is LOCAL! We are collecting books to distribute to the most vulnerable families in our own community. Together with Mamas for Mamas we will collect and deliver age appropriate reading material to help beat the Summer Slide. 

Kids who read beat the summer slide! The "Summer Slide" is the tendency for students, especially those from low-income families, to lose some of the achievement gains they made during the previous school year. 

Donate your gently used children's books (age 0-18) on May 27th at the Secure Rite Mobile Storage Lot at 726 Clemente Ave. Alternatively, Mamas for Mamas will be accepting books at The Hub at Pearson Road Elementary on May 23rd and 25th between 10am to 2pm.
