2018-09-26 10:00:00 2018-09-26 16:45:00 America/Vancouver Rise to the Challenge - and Give Life Each year, 30,000 new donors between the ages of 17-24 are needed to help Canadian patients in need. Today we're challenging young donors to rise to the challenge and recruit even more donors so we can keep pace with the need for blood in Canada. The #GiveLife challenge calls on student leaders or educators in schools to inspire students, teachers and families to give blood. By holding recruitment activities in your school or raising awareness using social media, you are potentially helping give life to hundreds of Canadian patients. By getting involved with the #GiveLife challenge, you will be helping cancer patients, car crash victims or someone in need of a stem cell transplant. Now that’s truly powerful! There is also the opportunity to gain skills, experience and raise school spirit by giving life at school and in your community.
