We will be here Sunday March 15th 2020 doing walk-in, pre-drawn, animal themed flash on a first come first serve basis. The flash that will be available at this fundraiser will be posted in this event in the new year! (There will be a line up, so come early to ensure a spot) 10 customers will be allowed inside the shop at a time and there will be someone at the door letting finished people out and new clients in. Dress warm as you may be outside in line a while unless you come early. 🤘 For those of you who are not familiar with this event, here is the low down.. We have sheets of flash specially priced for this event. No custom work or changes are allowed, although different color choices and shading styles are fine. We will be posting the available flash with prices in this event page closer to the date. The proceeds go directly Paws it forward Kelowna! We also have numerous guest artists from all over to be a part of this event and we also have been blessed with great community support. There will be no holding spots for anyone else in the line. Each person may choose to get up to two tattoos. If you want more than two you may jump back into the lineup. All the tattoos will be available to as many people that want them. The reason for this is simple…we are raising as much money as we can for this charity and set up, tear down, and sterilization of each work station can take as long as some of the smaller tattoos. So the more we do, the more money we raise. We are anticipating a big turn out so there is no guarantee that everybody who is in line will get tattooed. This ends up being a long day for everyone involved so if you see an artist taking a break to eat a piece of pizza or to run outside for five minutes respite please remember that. Our last fundraiser we raised over 10 thousand dollars for a local little girl battling cancer. We look forward to doing another fundraiser for another great cause. It all started when two friends, working in a pet store, learned about the helpless animals being euthanized in the USA. At first, their efforts were focused on the high-kill shelters in California. Soon after, they were helping local animals as well. As the network grew and more foster homes came on board, they were able to make a difference in many more lives. Over the years Paws It Forward went from a Society to a Registered Charity. They have hosted and participated in several fundraisers, community events and more! For the past 3 years they have been selected as one of the the Top 3 Charities for the 'Best of Kelowna reward'. Overall, they are so humbled to have countless volunteers and foster homes that help them on the journey of saving lives. Not having a facility or 'shelter', they rely on the community to provide a safe loving place. All the in's and out's of the rescue are handled by dedicated volunteers. The fosters offer their time and space to dogs in need all the time!
