It can be tough to be objective, to look ahead and anticipate the bumps in the road, to predict the pitfalls. Our advisors have all been where the Small to Mid – Sized Business Owner is and they have the skills to see them through the challenges that come their way.  What will attendees take away? Member Price - $10 includes tax.   Feel free to bring your lunch; Hot and Cold beverages will be provided.  About the Presenter  Alison Yesilcimen was immersed into the publishing business at the age of twenty-nine, when promoted to be the youngest female publisher in Canada to run a daily newspaper group.  After leaving the publishing business in 2009, she spent time in the technology sector launching her own tech company and leading a mid-sized software firm. She currently conducts results-based advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from technology to manufacturing, for the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust and is also and Executive in Residence (EiR) at Accelerate Okanagan providing proven methodologies that help commercialize early-stage tech companies. During her time in the publishing industry, Yesilcimen was instrumental to helping publish two National best-selling books Firestorm: The Summer B.C. Burned and Stories from the Firestorm. Inspired by Dr. Seuss, Alison Yesilcimen wanted to bring back the rhyming book, but give it a more modern twist by adding something everyone today is familiar with - technology. She has recently published her first Children's Book, Pretty Kitty In The City. She is a versatile executive recognized for having superior marketing skills, exceptional sales abilities and superlative business acumen.
