Kelowna Comedy is excited to present this special Fringe Festival preview of Emily Wood's Thanks For Leaving Me, Dad! After two years as a stand up comedian performing in Canada and the UK, Emily has quickly established herself as one to watch on both continents. She was recently shortlisted for the prestigious 99 Club Bursary for female and non-binary comedians, a Max Turner award finalist , and Leicester Square new act of the year semi-finalist. Emily is half of the comedy production company Blazers Presents and has made a name for herself across London as an MC and comedian. Playing in top clubs such as Angel, Komedia and the 99Club and known as a top MC in the city, even expanding to compere at the famous jazz club ‘Ronnie Scott’s’. Emily will be debuting her split bill show ‘Bitch and Nerd’ at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival and her solo debut hour the following year.
