Marwa El Charif has been singing professionally since she was 15 years old. She has performed on stage with many musical groups and styles all over Lebanon (English, Latin, Fusion and Arabic). She was a member of the well known Lebanese rock band Iklil, performing at festivals sponsored by Jameson, Jim Beam, as well as various jazz festivals and Fete de la Musique. Iklil were an opening act for many famous Arabic singers, as well as the music group FantastiX, led by musician and arranger Nemr Habib.
Trevor Salloum studied music at York University and Middle Eastern percussion with Mohammed Sadek, Michele Merhej Baklouk (Fairuz), Dr. George Sawa and Ebrahim Eleish. He worked with Raq Sharki dancers Diane Calenti, Nahida, Hadia, Rahma, Sarita and many others. He is a best selling author with Mel Bay Publications including The Art of Arabic Drumming.
