The goal of the Nerd Olympics is to promote communication within Kelowna’s tech community as well as create awareness for some of the city's talented small businesses. The Nerd Olympics lets a team from each company compete in organized games which include zorb soccer, an inflatable obstacle course, human hungry hippos as well as various team building and brain games. During the day, the park will be filled with costumes, hover boards and nerds. While the event will have a strong tech presence and some 'nerdy' games, it will also allow other small businesses to enter a team.
