Only 8kms from Orchard Park Mall. This Sunday at the market we welcome the Okanagan Wildlife & Natures Society (OWN) to the market. The Okanagan Wildlife and Nature Society (OWNS) is a local grassroots nonprofit organization that implements ecological research projects to better inform wildlife conservation and facilitate public engagement and awareness. The Summerland MAPS project has been our main initiative monitoring breeding songbirds in the okanagan for the past 3 years. Come and visit our information booth at the East Kelowna Market on October 21 to learn more about our program, and how you can contribute to bird conservation in the Okanagan. www.okanganowns.wordpress.com We will have over 40 amazing local vendors, live music, art and food for your enjoyment!
