Created by The Poetry Elf in October 2017, The Poetry Burlesque is an 19+ evening of curated performance featuring a variety of individuals in the Okanagan Community. Including sassy poets, sexy dancers, comedy, music, drag queens +more! Taking poetry out of colleges and coffee shops, allowing people to have a drink and enjoy poetry and performance art in a unique way. This is a platform to connect our community through a unique stimulation of culture. After all, what's more exciting and relatable than sex?
