New Years at Sun Peaks Resort
Don't miss the biggest night of the year in Sun Peaks!
Festivities kick off with the First Flight Big Air Invitational in the Rockstar Energy Terrain Park, followed by the Kids Glow Stick Parade on the village platter learning area. The Sundance ski run will come alive with an iridescent red glow as skiers and boarders descend with lit torches in hand for the famous Torchlight Parade. The grand finale is a spectacular Fireworks Show against our mountain backdrop.
The best spectator location for the Kids Glow Stick Parade, Torchlight Parade, and Fireworks Show is at the base of the Sundance Express chairlift, just outside of the Village Day Lodge. For the First Flight Big Air Invitational, you'll want to make the short five-minute walk up to the base of the advanced terrain park.

REGISTRATION DETAILS
KIDS GLOW STICK PARADE
Register children at Guest Services between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm on the day of the event. Children must be able to ski or ride Sunbeam run on the Village Platter with confidence. Minimum age to participate is 5 years. There is a maximum of 100 spots available.
FIRST FLIGHT BIG AIR INVITATIONAL
This demonstration is limited to advanced level skiers and riders. Anyone interested in participating in First Flight is encouraged to contact Cara Karpluk, Events Manager, at events@sunpeaksresort.com.
TORCHLIGHT PARADE
Registration will take place at Guest Services from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Registration is based on a first come, first serve basis. All participants must register and complete the waiver in person. Minimum age to participate is 14 and registration are limited to 200. All participants MUST be present at registration and parental signatures are required for those under the age of 19, no exceptions will be made! Participants must have a valid lift ticket for December 31, 2017.
