New Year's Eve Celebrations
New Year's Eve at Big White is all about celebrating old friends, great memories and new beginnings. Join in our mountain wide celebrations and kick off 2019 at 2,300m (7,000ft).
The beautiful snowy wonderland of Big White comes to life with parties, family fun and spectacular firework displays. Whether you are looking for fun for the kids, a unique dining experience or an evening dancing the night away; Big White has something for everyone. There are many different locations around the mountain dreaming up fun ways for you to celebrate the New Year, more information coming soon!
Fireworks Displays
Big White's firework displays are notorious for being bright, loud and beautiful, but there is no other show like the New Year's Eve show. Not one, but two firework displays will light up the skies of Big White on New Year's Eve. Join us for our first display in Happy Valley at 8:15 pm and then count in the New Year in the Village Centre for a midnight display. New Years Eve Silent Disco- The Blarney Stone Irish Tavern
Dance the night away to your choice of 70’s, 80’s or current hits with your friends and family. Each partygoer will have their own set of headphones so you can control the beats. $35 pp which includes a welcome Jameson cocktail, champagne at midnight, as well as tons of tabletop party fun! Regular Irish inspired dinner menu and New Year Eve celebration features will be available for purchase as well as a cocktail menu. Ring in 2019 with a ton of Irish Craic!
Classic Rock NYE Party- Globe Tapas:
Classic Rock NYE Party with live music & dancing from two fantastic local musicians! $35 entry which includes a glass of sangria, bubbles at midnight and tabletop favours for fun with friends! If you choose to dine with us you can graze all night with delicious Tapas style celebration sharing features, as well as our regular menu items if you prefer your favourites. With great proximity to the village, you are in the perfect position to watch the midnight fireworks then keep the party going with dancing and a perhaps nightcap until 1 am.
New Year's Eve Dining- Black Diamond:
The Black Diamond Bar & Grill is a contemporary Canadian Steak and Seafood Restaurant. Join us on New Year's Eve for The Black Diamond's favourite festive celebration.
