Kristen will present the research she is conducting as part of her PhD, examining the movement of Yellow-breasted Chats and Gray Catbirds at the northwestern periphery of their breeding ranges in the south Okanagan. Some of the methods used for tracking birds, their limitations, and some additional components pertaining to biochemical analyses of feathers that she intends to pursue over the course of her PhD will be included.
