The Games We Play
This summer the Kelowna Art Gallery will be hosting a fun and nostalgic exhibition called The Games We Play, which will showcase work by artists associated with the Okanagan’s art and tech community. The Gallery is now accepting submissions from all levels of artists who would like an opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional environment. Art of all kinds will be considered, including animation, painting, illustration, writing, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, textile, music, programming — from Monopoly to marbles, Clue to croquet, Parcheezie to Pokemon GO! — this exhibition is dedicated to the celebration of all the games we play and how they influence our lives.
Submission Deadline: March 1, 2017
Requirements for juried consideration:
• a brief explanation of your proposed work, including medium
and measurements
• one to two sketches or images of your proposal in .jpg format
• resume
• samples of any previous work in .jpg format
