The Kelowna Art Gallery will host a variety of speakers that will discuss their artistic practice and share information about their current projects. These illustrated talks are FREE and open to the public.  Wednesday, January 10 - The speaker will be Neil Cadger, one of the primary organizers of Living Things, Kelowna’s International Art Festival, which runs January 9 to February 4, 2018. Wednesday, February 7 - The speaker will be Julie Oakes, a local artist whose upcoming exhibition Awestruck, Calendar of Ecology is being shown at the Kelowna Art Gallery’s satellite gallery at the Kelowna International Airport. Wednesday, March 7 - The speakers will be two artists from the Viral Objects UBC Okanagan student exhibition, on display in the Kelowna Art Gallery’s Front Project Space until April 8. Wednesday, April 4 - The speaker will be Krystal Lezard of the Syilx nation, who works as the Curatorial and Heritage Researcher at the Westbank First Nation SncÉ™wips Heritage Museum.
