STEM Club (ages 5-12 years) COURSE # 10101
Do you have a ton of questions about how waterslides or bridges are constructed, spend hours building robots with super powers out of your recycling bin, or look up at the sky and wonder why it’s blue and what clouds are made of? This afterschool program will ignite your curiosity and passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math!) and focuses on using simple hands on challenges and experiments to enhance real world discovery.
Time: 2:30 (3) - 5:00 PM
Location: Mar Jok Elementary MPR
Tuesdays, September 26 - December 5
Cost: $220/session
Please note: these program activities begin at 3pm to accommodate children arriving from other schools. Mar Jok children can come at 2:30PM upon dismissal to the MPR and will transition into the program at 3PM. During this time they can participate in station activities and have an afternoon snack. If your child requires a leader to pick them up from their classroom, please advise us and we can arrange to do so.
