“Two Canadians in Paris” at the Mary Irwin Theatre
Two acclaimed Canadian musicians will engage Kelowna students and concert-goers this Saturday. The violin and piano duo of Jonathan Crow and Philip Chiu will present an evening concert titled “Two Canadians in Paris,” with music from French composers including Massenet, Fauré, and Debussy. The concert begins at 7:30 pm in the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Earlier in the day, interested music lovers can observe the warm personalities and outstanding talent of these two artists as they offer concurrent Master Classes in piano and violin at the Kelowna Community Music School, 728 Dehart Avenue. The class sessions begin at 10 am on Saturday Dec. 3, and are free and open to the public.
