1969-12-31 19:00:00 1969-12-31 20:30:00 America/Vancouver Hauntings-Tales of The Supernatural Victor Hugo, celebrated author of The Hunchback Of Notre Dame and Les Miserables, is a haunted man. His eldest and favourite daughter, Léopoldine, only 19, drowned in the Seine- just three short days after her wedding; pulled down by her heavy skirts when a boat overturned. Her young husband also died trying to save her. The death left her father devastated; Hugo was travelling with his mistress at the time in the south of France when he first learns about his beloved Léopoldine's death from a newspaper he read in a café. With guilt on his conscience and heartbreak overwhelming his thoughts, Hugo becomes obsessed with contacting his daughter in the afterlife-through seance. Don't miss this compelling tale about what happens to Hugo in this supernatural quest to contact Léopoldine. What he finds is shocking, unforgettable and yes-haunting. It is something you do not want to miss!
