Have you ever wanted to learn about Buddhism? Or wondered what draws millions of people to the study and practices taught within this spiritual tradition? Join us as we explore thoughts to consider in the realm of spiritual/religious contemplation and finding meaning in life.
Sharon Tashi Namgyal is a Buddhist Lama (teacher and minister) living and teaching in the Okanagan. She has studied meditation and dharma with Buddhist teachers such as Ven. Namgyal Rinpoche (founder of the Dharma Centre of Canada) and Lama Lena (Yeshe Katyup -Dzogchen master) and studied modern meditation programs such as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Applied Mindfulness Meditation from the University of Toronto.
Attendance is by donation: Lama Tashi teaches within the traditional practice of Dana (Giving). Please give in accordance with your means however do not let lack of funds prevent you from attending.
