2020-02-19 18:30:00 2020-02-19 20:00:00 America/Vancouver Kelowna Tree Protectors present speaker Ken Salvail Speaker Ken Salvail of KHS and Grower Coach will bring the past into the future with information on how construction affects trees, historically significant and young plantings. This talk is part of the Heritage Week events. Come and hear what he has to say. With so much development in our community, there are ways to protect our trees in the vicinity of construction projects, and developers need to know what to do and how to do it. And we as neighbours to our trees can talk to the contractors and request they follow best practices around trees they say they are trying to protect and preserve on the properties were they are working. This will be a very interesting and timely presentation. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening at Benvoulin Heritage Church, 6:30-8:00. Benvoulin Heritage Church 2279 Benvoulin Roa.
